Our Values

Science relies on honesty and skepticism in equal measure. Lab members are expected to report data (including negative results) honestly, without falsification or manipulation, supported by detailed recordkeeping. Being skeptical about your own findings as well as the published literature is essential to make lasting discoveries and report on them honestly.

Honesty & Skepticism

Diversity & Inclusion

Labs are multicultural spaces and every member of the group, of all ethnicities, backgrounds, sexualities, gender identities, and beliefs should be included in all activities, and made to feel welcome and respected.

Teamwork & Generosity

The lab only works when everyone pulls together and helps each other: from performing lab duties to sharing expertise. Members are expected to be generous with their time, knowledge, and patience, especially with junior colleagues.

Open Science

Members of the lab are expected to practice open science wherever possible. This includes sharing code, posting preprints, and publishing papers and data with open-access.
